Ropes and Anchors
- We can supply two main types of ropes, one for mooring lines and anchor ropes. These can be easily spliced by the traditional method. The second type is known as self splicing. This is used for life lines on most dinghies
- The self splice rope is a hollow bradied construction. To make a splice the end is passed through the rope and then pushed into the centre of the rope. When pressure is put on the rope it locks the end into the rope.
- All ropes are sold by the metre.
- We can now supply you with an anchor and chain for your Rib or dinghy
